I stayed at the Hyatt for a couple of nights a few weeks ago. Overall it's a decent Sheffield casino hotel. It's pretty well-located; a bit of a walk from New Street Station, but it's very convenient for a lot of the major attractions in the city. Staff at check-in were really welcoming. I did spend quite a lot of time during my stay waiting for lifts, which I guess is just a downside of it being a big, high-rise hotel with lots of guests. The room was very spacious, albeit a bit dated (especially the bathroom). What really bothered me was that I'd paid Em excesso for an upper-floor room to get views of the city, but the windows were FILTHY.
The Corinthian Club is a stunning venue that offers much more than just a casino. With its elegant decor, it’s a great place to enjoy a drink or a meal. The casino itself offers a range of games, including blackjack, roulette, and baccarat.
Only 1 roulette was open & upon asking for a blackjack to be opened was informed it would be about an hour.
Weekends are busier. However over the years standard has fallen. Multi story car park is always closed. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Bham over all has collapsed and some areas worse than third world slums. Hence 3 stars ????
On roulette and blackjack didn't play so much, but from what I sow you Watch it by cameras ok, but is a supervisor near your table sometime watching you like u are still it something and usually play is 5 -10£ / hand on blackjack
Enjoy going here really friendly helpful staff. Sometimes you win sometimes you loose but anytime I have won anything it has been here. Nice food but a shame because they took out the machines I liked to play most on so I removed a star for that reason only.
Came here for a wind down after a stag do as it was close to our hotel. Found the staff to be a bit over the top regarding me showing ID and after calling the manager we were finally allowed in. Had a few drinks and won a few quid so all was well in the end.
Absolutely brilliant stay here over the weekend. Perfect location central for everything we had planned. For a city centre hotel there was no outside noise, bed was comfortable and staff friendly and polite. If you are staying near the bullring then this is the place to stay.

If it was raining we would have got very very wet!!!! But apart from that still an amazing location and lovely hotel.
Also we forgot a laptop charger and called to see if we can go collect it ,and the lady who answered said she will return the call in 10 minutes but it turned to be the opposite, she didn’t even call back for feedback if they had found it or not .
